Who is the RHYTHM of Recovery and Relaxation sober retreat for?

The retreat is for anyone interested in a sober travel experience focused on overall health and well-being while having fun and enjoying adventure. It is for both men and women who do not wish to consume alcohol or drugs while traveling.

DO I need to be in recovery to attend?

You do not need to be in a recovery program to attend. If you are attending as a sober curious person or someone who simply does not consume you are still welcome to join the retreat. Any group recovery segments are optional for your attendance or you can choose to use that time for yourself. Your one-on-one session will be tailored to your needs, so not to worry about missing out on any aspects of the retreat!

I want to attend but will be traveling alone, can I still attend?

YES! As solo travelers book we will work to do room share pairings. All roommate shares will be with the same sex. We also have a limited number of private rooms for a supplemental fee.

CAn I come with a friend, family member, or SIGNIFICANT other?

While the retreat is not a family or couples retreat it is designed to be inclusive of all retreat goers. All rooms are based on double occupancy and we welcome booking with a friend or loved one at the time of registration.

How old do I need to be to attend the retreat?

All participants must be a minimum age of 18 years old.

WHat do I Need to do to reserve my spot?

Fill out the contact form and a member of Sober Costa Rica will be in contact to secure a brief meet and greet. Upon acceptance, a 50% deposit is required to hold your spot. Final payment is due 75 days before the retreat start date.

What is the cancellation policy?

Guests may cancel their booking up to 120 days before the date of departure with a full refund minus a booking fee of $500. You may transfer your deposit in full to a future trip, with no fee. Should you cancel between 119 and 60 days prior to the departure date, guests will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the entire trip price. All cancellations made 59 or fewer days prior to the trip and later will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% of the entire trip price.
